I was struck surprise to see a 10.00 on this review, so to say. I love Gin. I
really do. But the furthest score I would give is a 7 or 8. Yeah, I know,
stingy.

I saw the movie only once, and it left quite an impact, although I'm not so sure
about the current me now.
A consistent character that never wavers is a solid and good one. Maybe I should
watch Metropolis again.
Overall, I would have given the show a higher rating than you would. The art was
DEFINITELY better than what you describe- and don't judge the Japanese version
over the English ones.
I agree with this review. The show is rather horrible- it started great in the
very beginning and fell to pieces in the very middle. The creators couldn't
specific what happened then and whatsie-whotsie. In the end, I ended up staring
at the screen when the ending was featured.
*folds hands and nod* Agree, agree. The episodes events keeps on repeating, and
repeating, and repeating. Lest you count of the last few ones about Ai's past.
Personally, I thought Jigoku SHoujo should be given at least a 6.45.
Mm. I have to agree with you on certain parts. The plot was merely 'alright' -in
my opinion- but the art was certainly quite a piece- that was the most fitting
point for this anime.

I just changed Fujisaki to Furukawa. A thousand apologies for the error! Thanks for pointing out the mistake, Ash!

I've watched Death Note, enjoyed it, and hated the rock.
Just like what you said, it's good, suspenseful, but not great.
I remember this. You started screaming mid-way of the game, which induced me to started shrieking at the appearance of the Kimono woman.

*winces* It does sound god-awful. But I suppose for someone who prefer mindless and light animes, this would be the perfect choice.
Hmmm... I had plans to buy this. From your review, it seems well done.
